Noosa Shire Council completed the community consultation phase of proposing a new suite of Subordinate Local Laws to replace the current laws on March 20.
The new suite of Local Laws, as approved by Council and gazetted, came into effect on July 1, 2015

The proposed new Subordinate Local Laws would enforce the rules of the bathing reserve. Dogs can be on the beach if they are on-leash and south of beach access 60 at Piper Street.
